About us

We are a team of change-makers committed to exposing communities to available resources that encourage new possibilities, and optimistic outcomes.

Goodness & Grace Foundation Inc. (G&G) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to promoting healthy self-regard and mutual respect by exhibiting and encouraging kindness and compassion through community outreach activities and events.

G&G is comprised of certified educators, therapists, and coaching professionals who share in the concept that intrapersonal and interpersonal awareness work hand in hand. We believe that an individual’s love, respect, and value for themselves contribute, in many ways, to the treatment they accept from others as well as their treatment of others.

Firmly standing behind the motto “happy people do happy things”, our team strives to stimulate self-efficacy, personal fulfillment and pride. We believe that everyone has a unique gift and that through personal self-discovery, positive behaviors and optimistic expectations emerge. We assist clients, of all ages, with identifying, mastering, and honing their unique characteristics as they thrive to successfully practice self-love, self-awareness, and self-control.

Our Story

In 2019, Teresa Long founded Goodness & Grace Foundation, Inc. after enduring over a decade of mental, emotional, and physical abuse. She gained strength and solace through volunteer and advocacy work, with the Family Justice Center of Prince George’s County Maryland, Catholic Charities of Washington, and The Ark of Safety Christian Church of Maryland. Teresa gained further insight into the devastating impact of domestic violence while supporting outreach efforts where she assisted victims of domestic violence, elder abuse, human trafficking, and homelessness. Through these endeavors, Teresa, encountered countless victims suffering from the low self-regard and confidence that she was personally familiar with due to her own unfortunate circumstances. Witnessing the hopelessness that so many were experiencing and knowing firsthand of the vulnerability and the harmful impact of this stage of emotion, Teresa, grew passionate about not only assisting victims with boundless resources and support but also bringing awareness to the negative impact that low self-regard and the lack of confidence have on our communities.

Our Mission/Vision

The Goodness & Grace mission is to remedy low self-regard through proactive events, workshops, and peer groups focused on promoting, building, encouraging, and restoring healthy self-regard and confidence.

With your support, we can continue our work of healing our communities...mentally and emotionally
